SUNDAY, AUGUST 1: ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC at Hnausa
Mass is scheduled for 11 AM
We are asking all ladies to bring some baking, as always, for our afternoon coffee. Also, don't forget bug spray, lawn chairs, drinks and a hat. We're hoping for a good turnout, so please bring your kids and grandkids. Be ready to tell your phoning committee member how many of you will be coming.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28: PIG ROAST! (Club rooms).
This is a combined event, and all members of Kolping, the Golden Agers, the Parochial and CWL are encouraged take part. The afternoon starts with cards and games at 2 PM, and dinner will be ready at 5 PM. Who doesn't enjoy some delicious roast pork, salads, etc? The cost will be $12.00 per person and includes beer or other drinks, fruit plates, coffee and cake. This has turned out to be a fun and successful event in the past. If any money left over at the end it is given back to each society, and there is no profit involved for anyone. Come out and have a good time. TICKETS will be available Sunday, Sept. 12 and Sunday Sept 19, at the church entrance after mass.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5: MEETING. The topics will be the
SCHLACHTFEST scheduled for OCTOBER 30.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28: KOLPING MEMORIAL COMMUNION BREAKFAST. The convenors will be Barbara and George Broder. Would the following people please bring:
POTATO SALAD: KUSSMANN to ZEYEN
COLE SLAW ETC.: GUNKEL to KUNCE
BAKING: ABENDSCHOEN to GERSTNER.
The 'Adventsfeier' which will have to have a change of name because, except for the two or three Adventslieder, there is no reference to anything remotely connected to Advent. It will be held on the first Tuesday of Advent...and our Christmas Party is schedued for Dec. 19th.
