Now Accepting Proposals for the 45th National Convention!

 

Proposals are a description of an idea or concept that you feel would help the function of the Kolping National Office better promote the ideals of Blessed Fr. Adolf Kolping at a national level, or how the National Office can better serve the Local Branches.

 

Proposal Timeline:      

  1. Proposals should be submitted to the National Secretary either by mail or email no later than June 10th, 2026
    1. Barbara Hessler, National Secretary, 2099 Green Pine Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45231 or bhessler129@gmail.com
  2. The National Secretary collects and consolidates the proposals and forwards them to the Executive Board, including National Representatives, no later than one week prior to the third quarter Executive Board meeting.
    1. Third Quarter Executive Board meeting for 2026 is Monday July 13th.
  3. During the Third Quarter Executive Board meeting The Executive Board will review and vote on which proposals are to be considered for adoption at the National Convention.
  4. The National Secretary will notify the members who have submitted proposals if their proposal was selected for consideration at the National Convention.
  5. The National Secretary includes the selected proposals in the National Convention Delegation Packet for review prior to the National Convention.
  6. During the National Convention, the selected proposals will be presented to The Delegation and voted on for adoption

 

All Proposal Submissions Should Include:

  1. The name(s) and contact information of the member(s) submitting the proposal.
  2. The Local Branch affiliation of the member(s) submitting the proposal.
  3. A description of the idea or concept that is being proposed.
  4. An explanation of why the idea or concept is important and the desired outcome.
  5. A basic description of how the idea or concept could be executed, along with any budgetary considerations.
